Hello guys!
I contacted a customer who ended up giving me a negative review after not reading the item description. They agreed to change the feedback so I sent her a feedback revision form and she lost it, I couldn’t send it again because it only allows you to do it once. She kept saying that she wanted to change it but didn’t know how.
I sent a few emails explaining how to do it and she just never did, now about 10 or so days later her review says ‘review canceled’. Is it all over and I just have to admit defeat or can I keep trying?
I have worked so hard to have a perfect record of good reviews for a couple of years, this is my only source of income to provide for my family since COVID-19 descended upon us and I am selling bath and body items to ladies, you have no idea the hurricane of pickiness and Karen’s I’ve had to deal with to keep that record. *sigh*

You can reach out to e-Bay on social media and share the emails with them and ask for their assistance.
Send them a private message, message button in the upper right hand corner. Give them your user name and email and transaction number - brief description of what occurred. Good luck!

I just had the same problem.
My buyer missed the deadline to retract a negative bid and told me to call ebay.
I did the appeal online and got a no from Ebay by email.
Calling ebay and getting one of those minions on the phone won't really help.
I just block him and reply to their negative email in a funny way.

Just tell the eBay rep where the customer said they want to change the feedback but they don’t know how and the reps will fix the feedback with no issues

Aww thanks friend! Nice to get a reply from someone who has bee there!

Oh I hope that works! Can I just forward the email where the customer wanted to change the review to like customer service or something? Thank a bunch for the helpful advice!

I think that reply was a joke. That will not work.
There is a way to submit an automated FB review (just follow the link on the help menu) & it DOES work when you have a valid reason (I just had one removed where the buyer left NEUT FB but she canceled the tx, so there was no tx to leave FB on), but they're not gonna remove that one, it's simply the buyer's opinion. Be glad she didn't know enough to file a SNAD; you would have lost.
Interesting that you call your buyers "Karens". Regardless, no biggie, FB doesn't hurt you, only cases & OOS hurt your account, so I wouldn't waste any more time on it, since it doesn't hurt your account. Leave a professional reply (hint, don't call her a "Karen") & move on. Something like "Buyer misunderstood listing, offered return" or whatever applies.

Thanks a bunch for your reply. I understand how you feel about the name ‘Karen’ but as another female I think it’s a perfect visceral representation that people immediately understand.
It is a good word for descriptive uses but I wouldn’t call someone that to their face and I also think that naming this kind of person ‘Karen’ is a terrible injustice to all the women with that name. In spite of that fact it is an accurate depiction.
Hopefully we will get a better name for these women, maybe I should start.

Hmmm I notice your feedback profile says you've sent 5 feedback revision requests. Was that at 5 when you sent another? You can only do 5 in a year I think. Funny mine says 5 available but I got a negative last june from an april sale and sent a feedback revision request but no response.

No, how weird, that was the only one I’ve sent this year! It said that I’d used 5 last year too even though I had used only one. Very frustrating

Then don't do it! Are you aware that it's a form of racism?
And so you know, reading this in your post and reading your comment of "it is an accurate depiction" makes you look really bad and makes me feel bad for the buyer.

The number shown is a lifetime total.

You could say "difficult, entitled buyer" without using a name. Just as easily understood.

That was exactly my thought. If it's a terrible injustice, then just don't say it. It's beyond rude (& my name is NOT Karen), just call them an entitled or picky buyer.
Anyway, after my post it occurred to me that if you get someone at Ebay who reads your messages to & from the buyer & they clearly show the intent of the buyer to revise the FB, I guess it's possible they could remove it. Unlikely, as it's not even close to removable as standalone FB, but it won't hurt anything to try. Just know it's a long shot & is would take some effort on your part.

So you do not feel bad for the person being abused by an angry, irrational person who is trying to ruin someone’s business over something that they were wrong about.
Okay then.
