Changing from personal to business account.

Due to new tax changes... how do I go about changing from personal to business account without Ebay removing my earned scores?  There are two ways which confused me.  One was to just go to 'Account' and change to 'Business' Name.  I guess it'll ask me which type or store subscription level?  I do wish to change my current 'Personal' name (Seller's name?) but will this remove all scores?    Or Two, change my Seller's (Personal Name) name now before switching over to 'Business' account without going back to '0' scores.

Do I sound confused?  Yes, I am.  Keep on getting mixed up with ID/Username, Seller's Name, Business Name or even Store Name.  I guess that Business account would be my Store name.

Thanks for your help.  You know, I do procrastinate a lot and have been pondering about whether to have a store or not as I do have a lot of stuff around the house and most are not mine's.  ðŸ˜‚

I think that procrastinating is causing you to over think things and you are confusing yourself.  You are also making this a far more complicated process than it is.  It takes approximately a couple of seconds, literally a couple of seconds to change your Personal account to Business and you are done.  Everything stays the same.

Re: Changing from personal to business account.

Yes, you do have followers and your username recognized by those.  I'm not a regular but within these past few months, I have been slightly picking up some sales but oh, by no means, not a whole lot.  So, I won't have a problem changing it.  I was editing my Username and it specifically told me no spaces.  For instance, was thinking of Blackie's Place (name of my pet chicken), but could not have that space between the two words so it'll look like Blackie'sPlace - or something like that.   I guess if I chose a Store name, it might too ask for no spaces.

In answer to the next reply.  I have absolutely no room in my house.  I use the kitchen table area to take pictures and packing while the other room is filled with the stored items having no room for a table or vacant wall to take pictures.  I'm in the process of trying to organize to make things easier for myself so, that's why the rush to open a store is not rushed.  That and taking care of family and pets.

You are allowed to change your ID up to once every 30 days.

Yes, no spaces, you would have to run the words together or use another character.  _ * ~ whatever looks good to you.  Make it easy to type.
