Changing catagories on listings

When I change a listing to a different catagory it says "not good for a 30 day listing" when I have used the same catagory in other listings for 30 days.  Anyone know why or had the same problem?

Are you trying to change a listing that was originally created BEFORE 3/18 and is a 30 day BIN listing [not a GTC]?  If so the new GTC rule may be causing the problem.  You may have to wait until this listing ends and you repost it as a GTC if it doesn't sell before then.

It can be done, but in light of the new change to GTCs, it is likely that the system is just not going to allow it on a 30 day FP listing.  You can end it, fix it and then post it as a GTC.  Or you can wait until it ends naturally and then if it doesn't sell, change the category and then post it again.

I think the problem you have ran into is just the timing of you wanting to make the category change and the start of the new mandate for GTC.

Thank  you for replying.  Things just keep harder to keep selling.  It just uses more of our free listings to have to end a listing and then relist it to change the catagory.  I just ended a few items that have not had many views so that they won't get relisted automatically.  I'll probably get repercussions for that, too.
