Hi, I have a question.
If I have a product listed that has not sell for some time, can I edit that listing and change it for a different product? or do I have to end it and just list a new product ?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can. You can hit the relist button and change every detail of your listing if you want. You can change the photos, title, description - everything. Just be sure you have the the new item in a proper category..

The OP asked if they can edit the original listing so they don't have to pay to relist.

Well they can. If it is a fixed price item that hasn't sold, you may edit that listing at any time into whatever you want it to be. The only thing you can not fully edit on eBay would be an 'auction style' listing with a bid on it.

Wow really? Because I think Ebay would see using a currently paid for listing to sell something else as fee avoidance. Not sure whether they'd catch you but realistically I would pay to list something new because that's the right thing to do.

Something to consider besides fees. eBay tracks click through and sell through rates. Listings with poor performance are pushed down in the Best Match search results. That history will stick with the revised listing.

Who pays for listing items anymore? And i think that eBay would rather you list something that has a better chance of selling than an item that has been relisted many times with no sale or no offers.
If eBay allows you to do it, then it is something you can do. They allow you to change the category, title, description, photos - everything. If it is something they allow you to do, why would you refrain?

I think one deterrent to selling activity is your feedback which even though you have responded with a reasonable, isn't reviewed by many buyers. Most tend to only look at the score itself.
A suggest is that you emphasise the delivery time more clearly. We know it takes time to get through the process of finishing the order to be ready to ship.
Buyers likely think the 15 days is all inclusive from the time they press the buy button.
You need to change that to 15 days to finish and prepare to ship to only after the buyer approves of the proof. This could easily add a week or if they are slow in getting the approval to you. Once ready to ship that shipping time is then depending upon the shipper to accomplish what they're being paid do. You may wish insure your shipments over $50 against loss or damage.
