EBay has completely destroyed the front page of my store. Over time the look has changed so dramatically that it is now mostly garbage. All the nice photos I once had at the top are gone. All the custom pages I created just disappeared recently. The links in all my listings to my shop and shop policies no longer work. The photos I used for my links are long gone.
What exactly do we get for service from eBay for all the fees we pay? The only advantage I see to using eBay is the wide exposure of my products. Other than that eBay has nothing to offer.
Their managed payment system is an abysmal failure. My customers now have to wait as long as five business days for shipment because I won't ship until the transaction is marked complete by eBay. I used to be able to ship same day or within one day of purchase using PayPal payment processing.
Seller Hub and the new seller page are difficult to navigate disasters filled with useless information. The Manage My Store page is so limited in scope and filled with repetitive links that it's a waste of time. Their customer service is sketchy. I've been bold face lied-to by agents so many times it's not even funny. My items sometimes don't come up on searches due to eBay "removing" things whenever they want even though I'm paying to get my items displayed.
I feel sorry for new sellers who didn't get to experience the old, easier to use, eBay and are stuck with the latest junk iterations. What a shame that every "improvement" eBay makes leads to poorer service for sellers and buyers alike.
