Changes to Promoted Listings

Hi Everyone,
I have received an email yesterday from eBay, as per them our Promoted Listings may now appear on external websites and shopping sites etc with the same current add rates.  the last line is a bit confusing for me. which is mentioned below.

(Your advertising preferences
If you want your Promoted Listings to only run on eBay, just click here.)

my question is if I don't want to promote my listing on an external site then I will click on the above link or not. please help. Thanks

Changes to Promoted Listings

If you do nothing, your PLs will be opted in automatically. If you do NOT want your PLs to appear on external sites, then click that link and fill out the very short form that basically says you don't want to have your PLs on external sites. You can always opt in later if you decide you DO want them to appear on external sites.

as the email and ebay announcement tells you, if you don't want your listings promoted outside of ebay, click the link.

welcome, but may want to rethink having the PL available on google, ebay search is not so great for many items/categories... could allow your listings more potential views. Up to you, but figured I'd mention. If you opt out, you can always opt back in later.

If you don't mind me asking, why wouldn't you want your listings to be promoted on other sites as well in addition to ebay?
