Is this truly the only option with the new trading card system? If so is there a way to get feedback to eBay that this is absolute **bleep**?
This provides zero information on a trading card’s condition and is not helpful to buyer or seller. If there is only one condition, why require a condition at all? And it appears it is (or soon will be) required to list a card?
Does eBay make any decisions that make things better anymore?

Unfortunately, with the recent category changes, unless they are in pack, new/factory sealed - they are considered "used". I believe the only exception is if the card is professionally graded.
I do not sell in your category, but my son does and he is just as disappointed about this change as you. Evidently the search mechanism now is quite the nightmare/flooded.
Hopefully, e-Bay will slowly realize that many of these category changes are decimating with everything all thrown in together. I have given up trying to shop on here for several items as a result. Very disappointing.

I sell professionally graded cards on ebay from all the different major grading companies and they are not the exception. Unfortunately the only choice given on those as well is "used", which is more aggravating then for selling single loose cards. I have had potential buyers question why it is listed as "used" before and ask what is wrong with it. So I wonder how many potential sales have been lost from those that are not aware of the use of the designation and when they noticed "used" don't buy.
