Too bad about the new policy, all my business purchases are done with American Express. I'm not a big company, but there are certainly so many large companies/business owners who also only use Am/Ex for business purchases. Consider that you're not the only market that has the products you have listed. You will lose business while looking to save a percent or two.

::general reply::
Back in the day, Amex used to be strictly a charge card, not a credit card. Any balance was to be paid in full, monthly - no revolving credit. There was also an annual fee to be a member. My ex-husband had one way back in the 80s, a gold card if I remember right, and the balance had to be paid in full each month. I forget how much it cost him each year to be a member, but I'm sure it was too much lol
Only when they started revolving credit did they loosen up "membership" to the unwashed masses.
We seem to be getting closer and closer to a situation where nobody is responsible for what they did but we are all responsible for what somebody else did. - Thomas Sowell

Now it was a long time ago, so my memory may be failing me but didn't they come out with the Black card with some ridiculous fee.
