I cannot update item specifics from the seller hub, every time I click on the box to add specifics it does not allow until n unless I open the revise item to do the needful.

What browser are you using? Have had no issues with the bulk editor at all in Seller Hub.
I would log out and then log back in - try to avoid Firefox......Seller hub seems to not play well with others on Firefox...........we use Edge without any issues. Good luck.
