Cannot print label through ebay -> "There seems to be an issue processing your quest"

I received this error messaging after making my selections for a label and going to print it.

I'm fairly certain that this label has been created in the system and the postage has been purchased because I received the email from ebay letting me know it had been and included the tracking number.

I ruled out the possibility of a problem with Firefox as I went into Chrome (which I never even use) and received the same error.

Please let me know what I should do, I need to get this shipped out in the next few hours!

Okay I got it sorted out.

The only way to fix it was to create another label with a new tracking number.

Thankfully with FedEx, you aren't charged for the postage until you drop the package off.

When this happens to me I go the the shipping labels (history) and reprint from there.  I've always had success doing this.  In Seller Hub: Orders - All Orders - Shipping Labels (near the bottom of the menu on the left)

A no lable was printed. This is a problem with USPS and ebay. Ebay does not want to recognize that there is a problem.  You need to walk the item into PO and pay for shipping again and take tracking # and enter it by hand under other choices. Make sure you type the number correctly.  The first lable will count against your performance level for not being used , scanned and uploaded in time.  The PO will refund cost of unused lable in 15-20 days. So I guess you dont need that money right away. If you want to complain in doing enough of these that shoot you level in the toilet below 95% dont waste your time. The CS in Southeast Asia Call Center us useless.  I tried for 1 month, over 20 hours on the phone. Nothing done to correct injustice. If you then produce too many of the non existant lables it will reduce you to Aboce Standard from Top Rated, now you loos again on the Big Savings for making lables through ebay.  What a crock of rap. Solution I have not found one. I gave up.  And just refused to sell for two months as a protest. Cut myself and ebay too.  After 18 years this is what it has come down too.

See my message above, it's a system glitch and simply going to the Shipping Labels page and reprinting has worked for me Every Single Time I get the above error.  I get this a couple times a year for 2 or 3 labels in a day's orders.

This is for a FedEx label, not a USPS label.

I guess I will call FedEx and ask them for advice, their customer service is pretty good over the phone.

Odd, I've never had to go the route of a new label, just reprint.  Good to know in case it happens again and my current workaround no longer works around.
