I think my ebay account was somehow hacked at one point. After much hassle with customer service this was finally remedied. However, since then ebay never wants to accept my password. I have to keep changing it and/or have a code sent via text to log in. I went to list yesterday and I couldn't because my listing location was where I'm located, but the location on my account information said China?? I went to my account info and changed it back to the correct location and tried to list again. Now I get a message that it cannot be listed until I verify my registration info after ebay congradulated me on my move to the United States and gives customer service links for foreign countries to verify my account location. We have called customer service three times and NOBODY seems to know squat about fixing it. The first guy told me to change my password using paypal login, which did nothing. The second person was of no use. The third one couldn't help and said they'd call back in a half hour once they figured out what the problem is. We never got a phone call back. I want to pull my hair out! I don't get it and I don't know what to do.

If you have to keep changing the password I'm concerned that your computer has been compromised. It needs to be scanned to make sure you have no root kits, keystroke loggers or any other spyware on it. If you don't know how to do this, or don't want to learn how, hire someone.
1) Secure your device (computer in this case). 2) Change ALL passwords to ALL sites, including email passwords. 3) Contact any site (such as eBay) that you think has been used without your permission.

Sorry, I understand you are concerned.
Call Ebay Trust and Safety; I think this is very serious as you may have been hacked. They should help you.
Just call the ebay CS number and ask for a Trust and Safety supervisor.

After a fourth call to customer service and two more people later it is finally fixed. Thank you for trying to help!

I have CCleaner and Avast free version installed. Is that enough to remove those things? I will change all of my passwords. Thanks!
