Without more details about what you're doing at the time, exactly what it is telling you to do, and what goes wrong (Process hangs? Error message appears?), I don't think we can offer much help.
Just as a guess here, if you're referring to Item Specifics that you're adding to your listing, scroll back up through the listing form and see if any fields are outlined in red. If so, the error message would be referring to them. It may be that your listing (for whatever the item is) has some required Item Specifics that you have not filled out yet.
