Cannot get in touch

Either I'm a complete idiot or it's absolutely impossible to get in touch, with a response, from somebody at ebay.

I just don't get it.

I sold . They returned. Although I don't take things back, I did. They got a full refund. My items were returned to me crushed in pieces, broken, chipped. Every single piece.

No, the outside of the box was not, so no it was not the carrier. The **bleep** buyer took absolutely no care or concern in repacking my items.

They get away with that. Totally. Now my items are 109% ruined. Noway to recouped the loss, not to mention cause the buyer who misread the description gets to make negative remarks, ruined my items and get their money back. Since then I was so upset at ebay cause there's no understandably way to navigate the absolutely worthless way of getting in touch with them, I've tried canceling my membership. Put it this way. In 2 months I sold 394.00 in goods, ebay has paid only 100.00.

They are continuing to hit my bank account on a daily basis for money, claiming I owe them. Un frigginbelievable.

Have ebay call you back under help and contact button. I've had good luck this way reaching an USA representative.

Now, I take it that it's the perfume bottle lot that this buyer bought and returned and just threw it in a shipping box?

I don't know if ebay can offer you a courtesy refund on this transaction gone bad or not, you'll have to state your case with them. It's unfortunate what happened with this sale.

I viewed the original listing and you state " buyer misread the description "  and I must say this entire listing was confusing. Did buyer receive every perfume bottle shown? Did buyer have to pick and choose? How were you able to ship every piece for $10? Why was the buyer unhappy with this sale?

Please return and fill us in as to what happened with this sale.

Sorry for your situation, but on eBay there is no such thing as "NO returns".  All buyers have a money back guarantee for 30 days.  No returns does not mean no refunds as you found out the hard way.  I would start accepting returns and save yourself the hassle.

Happy Selling

Why did you issue a refund before yuo got your item back? usually eBay gives you 2 days to inspect the return.

She thought a vintage perfume bottle would be fully functional today. 3 of those bottles were from the 30's and 40's.

I had stated in the description that it would compliment a vanity or display. I failed to mention they were not tested for functionality I assume.

So she returned them saying she was unable to use them.

I didn't mind refunding her $ , the problem is she completely and carelessly sent them back. They crushed , in peices, chunks missing out of the sides of them, several were chipped. A complete loss.

Her response to me regarding that was" I shipped back they they came", well, if that was the case, then her return would have been because they were in the condition I got them.

She didn't give a care less.

BYW the box??? Not a wrinkle in it. It was not the usps that crushed it. She did not pack considerably.

Thank you for replying back, now did you refund buyer before you received your perfume lot back? If you did that's bad. You should have initiated a return and when receiving this package back from buyer, you have ( 3 days I believe) to inspect items.

You can deduct up to 50% cost for damage.

Your buyer was evil and no regards to someone else's property.

You can still reach ebay via call back and let them know, doubt if anything will happen but buyer can still leave a dreadful negative fb.

So sorry you have to go thru this.

Ten, isn't it still ebay policy that the buyer must return items in the same condition as received from seller?

According to OP this buyer threw all these glass items in a box and broke them.

Yes - you are correct, but it is a bit of an honor system thing.  Who knows how they were sent back?  Who knows that happened during the return shipment?  Who know if the seller broke them when she received them back?  We don’t, just as we don’t know if INAD’s are truthful.

It is, but you're not going to get an option to deduct any amount.
