I am selling a garmin gps and cannot find my listing. I have views and a bid, but why I cannot find my item is beyond me. Have been searching for about 2 hours. Now at the library for faster speed. Please help!

I'm on dial-up at 40 Kb . . . I clicked on your ID and voila! Took me 2 seconds. You have 80 characters to to work with . . . use them!

That's because you have such a short title. You have nothing to search for!

Thanks for trying, but as I said in previous post: ' If I search under my screen name I find it, but no other search attempt yields results.'

Clicking on an ID to find it is not the way buyers would search.

When I search "etrex" I find everyone else's GPS, but not my own.

I had trouble finding it too. What I found is that when you click search, Ebay changes the category to GPS units under Vehicle Electronics & GPS, where your item isn't. But if you click the All Categories, it's there along with stuff that doesn't apply to someone looking for a GPS only. Or, if you click the Hiking Category you can find it.
Frustrating for you I know.

Thanks a lot. Finally can find it. Need to change something up to make it easier to find. Any suggestions?

If eBay is changing the category when people search for your item by make and model, the obvious suggestion would be to list it in that category so that it gets found.
It would also make sense to add to your title and include some obvious terms people might use, like "handheld", "hiking", "personal locator", etc. Because right now, if a buyer searches for "hiking gps" or "handheld gps" yours would not be included.

They do that because opposite of what you say, buyers DO NOT want the search that includes ALL categories. It is a nightmare to find what you want doing it that way.
