Cannot Update Buy It Now Price

Good afternoon, everyone:

I searched the discussions but could not find anyone asking or answering this (apparently simple) question: I have a "Buy it Now" item listed right now. I wish to reduce the price. When I edit the item's price and hit "update" (or whatever it's called) the price stays the same in preview and remains the same on the listing itself.

Why can't I make this simple change?

I just revised 2 with no problems.....don't know why it won't work.......it is a fixed priced listing.......

Did you enter or tab out of the price field before clicking Update?

Thank you -- I just tried both: I kept the cursor in the field and previewed it, and it stayed the same. I also updated the price and left the price field: same result.

This was my first listing; I had no idea the Ebay interface was so poorly designed. Thank you, regardless, for your reply. I hope someone can solve it!

I have a few questions for you.

I apologize for my late reply; thank you for offering help. I've figured it out, to a certain extent: it's really just a shoddy system that sometimes takes edits and sometimes doesn't. There is really little rhyme or reason (I used to evaluate web usability, so I have some experience with testing these things). I've managed to get it close to what I need in terms of price, etc.

If you use preview it sometimes reverts back to the original version. It's been this way for years. If anyone at eBay used the site they might have known this from their own experience.

I haven't used preview for years because of this problem, issue or glitch/bug. I submit my changes blind and then click on the listing in the window you get after you submit the changes. That's why that window is there, is my assumption. So I make lots of changes. Some of my buyers must think I'm stupid for making so many revisions!
