Cancelling a scheduled listing. Is it now impossible?

Have things changed?  I have a listing scheduled and the item is no longer available.   I had the listing scheduled  to start in a few days.

Long story short:  I go to 'Scheduled Items for Sale' and NOW there's NO delete button, just an 'Edit' and 'Revise.'

I've done this many times in the past and suddenly I can't remove/delete the inactive listing?   Jeeez'!   Do I have to wait until it's active and remove it...so Ebay gets the listing fee?  That seems to be their idea here.

Or the site's 'features' have gone nuts!

I tried to remove it through the 'Edit' process, but there is no way.

We've done this for many years, and this is a first for me.

How odd that this is solved simply by calling in, but numerous survey responses and queries got me nowhere. No, I did not call in, because my issue is resolved with classic view.   The fact that the rep indicated she had no clue about this is telling....one could also call in to be opted out of the new seller hub a few years back, then it was no go just recently, sorry...can't help with that....  I am expecting a similar scenario to play out with this.  Apparently, there is big money to be made across the board with GTC and forced scheduled listings.

Hi @lataraoxalic, can you tell me the steps you are taking? When I checked your account to see what option you have available for scheduled listings, I see the delete option is still present. I've included a screenshot below of what I saw on this page

I'll be happy to look into any trouble you are running into on a different page, and hopefully the link and screenshot I shared help you with this listing in the meantime 🙂

Thanks much.  I switched back to the classic view and the 'delete ' option was once again there.

Problem solved.  🙂

I am now having the same problem  No delete button on scheduled items.  Also trying to revise them to Buy it Now before they list and it will not allow me to.

For some reason can no longer get the classic view.

Home Page > My eBay > Switch to Classic View...  I had the same problem.  I found the "Delete" button.

There seem to be still some functions missing from the Seller Hub. How old is it now?

I found that I needed to switch to the older view for the selling page and the Delete option became available. Very frustrating!

I found this by Googling that I can't delete some scheduled listings. I see it was a problem in March. It is still a problem for me today, July 10.

Hi @editwrite, this is an issue we are currently working on. If you would like to provide a screenshot of the error you are seeing, I can pass this along to our tech teams for review as a part of our investigation.

Ok, fixed the issue! I was having the same trouble removing a scheduled listing.. no delete to be found anywhere. So I clicked on My ebay, clicked the selling link, and in the upper right had corner clicked "switch to classic view" or just "classic view".

Right away all of the selling categories were listed and scheduled listings were sitting right there with a delete button available!

Seems like they forgot to add a delete button to the new format Â¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Nothing is fixed.  I do not see the DELETE option from my scheduled listing on eBay too.

I can't find a "Manage scheduled listings" tab at all anywhere too.

I switched to classic and now, it is not there either.  In the end I revised the listing with a title of 'nothing' removed pictures and put one of the countryside up (must put one picture in).  Explained in the description that it was nothing for sale due to the problem, reduced the auction to 1 day with a start price of £1 and ebay accepted it.  Seller fee was reduced to 6p but I can live with that.

Here in the US, a 1-day duration would have incurred a "listing upgrade fee" of $1.00.  Duration wouldn't matter, just end the listing a moment after it starts.
