Canceling an acution

Hello I ended a auction/listing but I want to know if I will get charged a fee? It’s my first time canceling one because there was an error with the amount of the bid, it was to low.

It depends on the category the item was in, but most final value fees are 13.25% of the total, plus 0.30 cents. It would help to see the listing. Can you post the item number?

Below is the policy on ending a listing. It will tell you most everything you need to know. Below that is the policy on seller fees.

Re: Canceling an acution

I had to cancel a auction with 1 bid a long time ago because I made a error in the description.  I was charged the full alumt of the final value fee and the listing fee. 13.25% of the highest bid and the .30. Luckily it only had one bid by a regular bidder, so I was able to just reach out and let him know what was going on. The starting bid on that one was $60, and the amount I had to pay was $8-$9. So, if you're saying your bid was $120, it should be around $18. They should've notified you of the amount you had to pay before you canceled.

Depending on the category but for most items the FVF % is 13.25% + $.30. So rough calculation $16.20 provided you were not also promoting the item.

Where can I find the account fees?

@teame43

Go to your Seller Hub and look under the Payment Tab.

As a seller you need to have a very GOOD understanding of what a Defect is as it affects the health of your selling account.  To many defects can cause sanctions.  Keep incurring them and you can lose your Selling Privileges.

Look at your Seller Dashboard, it is on your Seller Hub.  Look at each section carefully and read the descriptions of what each of them mean.

IDK what you are trying to describe here.  Your sentences don't make sense.  Are you saying you wanted to decrease the price on the auction?

One of the first things a seller needs to know is what it costs you to sell on this site.  How else can you create your pricing and still cover costs.  You have to know how much you will need to pay Ebay, that is just the very basic thing for sellers.

He's referring to the option to "Easy pricing," which IIRC automatically reduces the opening bid on an auction each time it's relisted, and reduces the price of fixed price items every 10 days.
