Ebay has again decided to make a decision for ALL Buyers .  For the protection of the Buyers  on Ebay they have decided too remove any Sellers ADS containing Disinfectants and Mask for their own protection from price increases.  So know Sellers cannot sell these products and Buyers will be unable to buy through Ebay.  Thank God Ebay Saved Us Again.

In a different world individuals where allowed to make their own decisions.

Ebay will surely refund the cost of the AD !

Shelve them until you can relist or donate if a cause is near to your heart. Godspeed!

This is what happens when sellers take advantage of a situation and gouge buyers.

Exactly. Many people can be blood-sucking ambulance chasers taking advantage of the panic in any given situation. As I mentioned previously in another thread I bought a dozen N99 masks last year for $17 due to the smoke from the California fires. Today I still have ten of the masks in the box and one in each vehicle in an air-tight container. I must admit I thought about the potential profit if I sold off my N95 mask stock I use as handouts to my neighbors but never even shot photos. The N95 masks were $13 for ten in a box.

How much money are you willing to pay for something you think might keep you healthy and alive?

Therein lies the problem.  Panicked, desperate people may be willing to spend their rent money, utility bill money or food money (and reply on food pantries) in order to obtain a product that "may" help protect them and their families from a virus.

There is much misinformation and rumor mongering regarding this novel virus, its spread and availability of preventative measures available to the general public (like hand sanitizer and face masks).

eBay made the right decision during this expanding public health issue.

In the future I expect these products will again be readily available on eBay and other online venues at a sane price.

Remember, if you get the virus, your chance of survival is roughly 98%. This is the same chance as the survival rate of the gougers, but their hands will be sanitized.

you can probably list, but don't try to use words of the virus in the listing and do not inflate pricing.

From what I see, you may be a third party seller. Majority of your photos are cut (catalog) and paste which tells me that you do not have items on hand.

When you prey on the panic and health of others, that is a problem.

No, they cannot list those items regardless of the exact text or the price. Those ITEMS have been banned. Read the Announcement.
