It's usually better to ask questions about shipping from Canada on the Canadian discussion boards as most posters here are familiar with shipping from the US. There is a recent post on the Canada's seller's board that you might have a look at

It's never recommended to ship without tracking. Without proof of delivery there is always a chance of getting caught short.
