Can you find out which countries are not suitable for sale on ebay?

Hello guys, I'm a new seller on eBay. I want to know which countries are not suitable for us to sell on eBay. Can you help me with this based on your experience?. Have a nice day

Well... you're in Sri Lanka. That's one of the countries least suitable for selling from  on eBay. You can't accept PayPal.

Since you are in Sri Lanka and can not legally use PayPal to receive payments, you somewhat limited selling to any country that requires PayPal for receiving payments.

You are actually not an ebay seller, you may want to be, but Sri Lanka's restrictions on paypal prevent you. But you already know that.

     You cannot obtain the payment processor PayPal due to your countries banking laws. This isn't something we did or even you but the fear of increased money laundering and terrorism funding has your country halting the availability of PayPal in SriLanka.

As you've been told before, people in your country can not use Pay Pal to receive money.

Since you have no way to be paid, you can't sell here, no matter what the YouTube videos and the get rich schemes you guys buy into say.

E-bay will indeed suspend an account for drop shipping from Ali Express and Paypal pymts will soon be gone.  Are there no viable options for you in Sri Lanka to utilize for e-commerce at all??

     I remember that post and I believe it was on Ken's original topic " what's the deal with all the SriLankas". No I don't think that's panda unless he has multiple accounts.

     There is a foreign payment processor that will support SriLanka and it involves several steps for funds to be released but eBay doesn't support that. And manage payment processor Ayden ( sp) is not available in SriLanka neither.

     There have been several S.L. residents whom have come out and stated that they obtain PayPal from brothers, uncles, cousins in Canada, Phillipines, China and they are in turn giving false information to PayPal.

    It's very sad indeed but the residents need to make changes starting with their home base and laws first.

Thx - I had saved that post for something else, but that same poster had posted on the payments board about sales and no way to get them, accts kept getting closed, etc.  & several IDs saying the same thing.  It was in a cut and paste that I added some IDs to BBL.  LOL   Just had struck a chord.

What a mess - never mind the layers of mess it creates for a potential buyer.
