Hello there, PerryDCox here....Today I noticed a HUGE change to the listing layout. A Popup from Ebay says, "WE'VE MADE SOME NEW IMPROVEMENTS". And here IS the "Improvement"..... In MY listing, you only show an image and title of the item I LIST... THEN YOU PROCEED TO SHOW THE BIDDER/CUSTOMER DOZENS OF OTHER ITEMS NOT SOLD BY ME before they can read the description of MY item???? What the heck is this? My listing!, My listing listing paid fee!, and MY ITEM I'm trying to sell... and Ebay feels it's "an improvement" for my listing to SUGGEST OTHER ITEMS BY OTHER SELLERS FIRST? This is completely insane! It was bad enough when Ebay started stuffing ads at all in OUR listings that WE pay for, but now, OUR listing plays second fiddle to OTHER SELLERS LISTINGS~! Completely crazy. PLEASE REVERT BACK TO THE LISTING STYLE BEFORE THIS INSANE DIS-SERVICE TO THE LISTING SELLERS! I've been on Ebay 26 years and this is the worst JAB to seller yet!

It's been like this forEVER, it's just that now they're showing it to sellers who view their own listings as well as "everyone else"

@perrydcox your listings have not been changed, they are exactly as has been for music vinyl category - I would know, since I sell vinyl. The music category, at least for vinyl, has not been changed to the new test beta listing layout like others have been posting lately on. The layout you have has been for longtime now. Those 2x rows of PL sponsored ads have been that way for longtime before description. This is coming for PC view, how looks on mobile idk don't use the app it's horrid.

The great truth is there isn't one
And it only gets worse since that conclusion...

I dont list in the vinyl music category. I list in the music memorabilia category and it certainly has changed.

no it hasn't, just told you i just checked your listings, it's the way it has been for longtime now. The music categories has not been changed to test beta's they have been doing in other categories. Tell me what you believe has been changed? Those 2 rows of PL ads before description have been like that for at least 2 years now, so what else do you believe have change aside from that?

i know the amount of ads they place on listings is absurd - no one likes them, did you see beneath your description? There are tons more. Unfortunately, ebay doesn't seem to have any intention to redesign the ad slots on listings, even in the new test beta's they have been doing lately those slots haven't changed. Most wish they would.

As a seller yeah it's a slap in the face but as a buyer it's down right annoying!! I get tired of having to hunt for the listing description for the item I'm looking to buy. It has been like this for awhile but it seems like they keep moving it around (up & down) the page as well. Super frustrating.
