I haven’t listed anything for sale on eBay for years, but recently I’ve cleaned out my tack room (don’t ride horses anymore) and have quite a few expensive, nice quality items I’d like to sell. Created a listing, or so I thought, but when I hit the “list Item” button, I get a red warning saying that I’m $10 away from my monthly listing limit of $200. I try hitting the list item button again and again and get the same message. My listing is stuck as a draft.
I tried listing another less expensive item that could easily be shipped in a small/med plastic envelope that weighs only 1 lb and eBay recommended calculated shipping shows $45 - $95. “WHAT”. When I enter the package size and weight into calculated shipping it $6 - $8. Don’t know if this is causing a problem with activating the listing.
Very frustrating

The higher the ticket, the better the odds of getting ripped off.
And the thieves and crooks are coddled and enabled by Ebay in doing so.
So, I guess it depends on your threshold for pain and loss.

Are you signed up for Managed Pay? If not, get that out of the way first.
New or returning seller that have not sold in the past 90 days can have up to 30 day holds on payouts.
$ limits are not new and some sellers get hit with low ones, I have seen post where they were way lower than yours. You will need to build up some sales keeping under your limit and then every 30 days you can ask for an increase.
