Can’t find where to list item specifics

I’ve spent the better part of my morning trying to post a listing with variations for a shirt that I have in four different colors. I just finished all the tedious work of uploading photos of each variation and checking all the specifics of my listing, but when I go to post I am told that I am missing item specifics so my listing cannot be published. Here’s the problem: the fields that are usually visible to populate with item specifics are not there. All I see is the option to add custom item specifics. I’ve tried manually entering the usual required specifics such as brand, material, and size, but not only does it’s not solve my problem, they don’t seem to be saved when I choose to save as a draft so I can research this problem… Anyone else having this issue? I am currently using the computer to create this listing because of the variations, but I have also switched back and forth between my iPhone, and also the Seller Hub on my desktop. Still cans see anyplace to enter item specifics. Is this some sort of glitch??

What category is selected for the listing?  Is this a single listing that offers multiple choices for the same item in varying colors, sizes, etc?  Or is each listing for 1 shirt?

Only ask as the only time I have this issue is when trying to list using the variant template and that lately has seemed to have all types of glitches, so I end up doing a "sell similar" as I cannot get a new one to work.

Yep, listing with variations! Glad it’s not just me... later on that evening the item specifics section just showed up like it was never gone 🤷🏻‍♀️
so problem solved... at least til next time😬

That is always glitchy for me, so I finally saved myself a template and just tweak from there.  No  idea why that one is so hard to get right - especially with all the variables, you actually NEED to get it right!  lol

Glad it worked out.  Amazing how much time you gotta put in to some of these dang/dern listings.  (No wonder we only average about 12cents per hour on this gig!)

Yes, I do the variation listing to try and save time, but inevitably I run into something like this and have to wonder if it’s worth it!
