Preventing scams

I sell used jewelry . i auction lots of different pieces together in a single lot and because of one buyer and the fact there really isnt anything that tells buyers certain things that would help in keeping them from scamming as much.

To help myself out more in the future i have now begun to add this inside the description column.

And this is what i add. Tell me what you think...

You get " ALL " that you see

 *These pieces are all wearable

* Nothing has been modified in any way.

* Each piece has been cleaned and sanitized Before bagging to assure you that when you receive your package that you and your family will stay happy  and healthy.

* These are pre-owned items.

* They are all in great condition but are not perfect.

* As is

* No returns

Ebay has been helping me w my current issue w this buyer. I just wanted to share w others who find themselves in a similar situation.

Maybe this might help you also

Any way let me know what you think

Hi. Putting No Returns and As Is in your description does not protect you from fraud. That is because eBay’s Money Back Guarantee trumps any seller’s no return policy. There is no such thing as “As Is” on eBay if a buyer opens an Item Not As Described case.

Some of your listings are begging for returns. The one I noticed that sticks out the most is the one you say is 0.925. UNLESS everything in that lot is pure silver it is a disaster waiting to happen. Also all your pictures are misleading. You need to show the whole lot and not just a cut and paste. Take out the other stuff in some pictures. One caught my eye immediately with a medicine bottle in the picture. Your as is statement in your description means nothing.
