My store's name is Rainbow Dolls, so it really sux I can't change font color any more. I hate this new listing system. It's almost as arduous as etsy's now. After listing 2 things, I just want to go drink. Now I can't list any more things tonight because I spent so much time on these. I really think eBay wants to lose money... Adding to this rant a question: Are we locked into the selling method we selected? It pre-selects Priority for me with the weight as 2 lbs. I'm selling 9 oz. Care Bears so **bleep**... This is all annoying as hell.

But...but...if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need!

I can't get that version at all, only on older listings (when I got to edit them). I have tried to find this business tool. It's supposed to be under MyEbay, but nope. The only listing tool I can find is the new listing tool. I DID find a way to get colored fonts, however, so I'm good! 🙂 I go to older listings where I have that option, choose the font and color I want, then do a copy and paste to the new listing.

Do you mean you highlight and copy the text that is in the color and font size you want, and then paste into a new listing? If not, please provide a more detailed explanation. Thank you!

Hope the link works - it worked for me. If you make templates of your existing listings (you can do it by category - just label the template the way you like), you an access them through the drop-down box. eBay will bring up all kinds of listings to copy, but just scroll to the bottom to make your own listing. But I'd use templates - it makes it so much easier and you have a permanent copy of your listings.
I tried listing an item today (26 June) there but it was not possible to change the font color to blue or customize the font size to 14 which is what I always used in the past. The limited selection of font sizes are too small or too large. Does the link still allow you to change/customize the font color and size (14 point font)? If so, where and how do you make the changes, or has eBay removed those possibilities?
Thank you.

Update: I switched to the listing tool, and it seems to be the old listing tool that was available before the site was so radically changed. It allowed me to change the font color and size to how I wanted it. Thanks very much!
I also used the ask-an-expert feature and was advised the following: "To switch to the business listing tool, look in the upper right-hand corner of the listing form you are currently using for Switch to business listing tool and click on it. You may see a warning about the business listing tool only being for high-volume sellers, you can ignore that, anyone can use the tool."

The whole point here is that it’s ridiculous to make the seller jump through hoops to publish a simple listing. I can see the point in keeping the captions uniform...but within the “meat” of the listing itself; the ability to properly use color and all available fonts can help the reader as well as the seller. What’tha’heck...if I’m selling a red car and want to lead off the descriptive copy in red..WHY NOT?? Besides...you learn pretty quick what works and what doesn’t. Nice, clean descriptive copy in ONE FONT..or perhaps 2, for contrast where needed, and maybe 1-2 colors)of your choosing)--WHY NOT!! So come on eBay, if it ain’t broke--don’t work up a sweat trying to fix it!
