We've been using the Comcast FTP hosting site for 5 years....they just deleted the picture hosting as of Oct 8th. All of my old listing pictures have now vanished. We are in the hunt for a reliable imagine hosting service with hotlinking. Cost is not an issue, just want something as reliable as possible. Thanks in advance for you recommendations!

I have used FreeYellow for more than a decade. It is not free, but the annual cost is reasonable. I have found them to be very reliable and their customer service is excellent. All of my embedded auction photos are hosted there (along with many others) and one of my websites is there, too. I think they still offer a 2-month free trial.

I would recommend free image hosting site www.uploadsheep.com, good luck!

There is always Photobucket. I've been using them for over a year now. A little slow uploading your images but it is reliable and best of all FREE.

Year and a half old thread, but still relevant to an extent.
Consider your own web hosting account and domain name. Both can usually be had for less that about $50/year. You get all the hosting you'll need plus a few other advantages and benefits like your own email service.

It was the best answer when I started 18 years ago and it's still the best answer, your own domain so links never change, your own email addresses (hundreds of them if you like) that never change, enough space for you to use for "cloud backup" or transferring large files.
GoDaddy would be an obvious choice but there are plenty of others in all price ranges.
You might even get inspired and turn it into your own ecommerce site (I never did get so inspired).

For those of you who host your own pictures for ebay using your own domain, I would love to hear what gallery app you are using. I am currently using Piwigo and it is giving me fits with updating and picture sizing issues.
I am about to ditch photobucket, and am trying to get out before my annual subscription ends and they try to charge me $400 to keep my photos up (no way am I paying that.)
