Yesterday Ebay suddenly close my STORE because of "BELOW STANDARDS. I have bought and sold more than 300 sportcards on the site in the last 8 months.... WHAT GIVES?

Probably because all you use is some stock photos that aren’t related at all to the item? If I were in charge at all I would’ve closed your store to.

I agree. Amazing that anyone would buy without photo of the item being sold.

How did you send your cards out? Did you upload tracking for each item?
What does your selling stats say? It explains there why you are a below standard seller and what needed to be fixed.

I guess your lesson is being learned now. Take real pictures. Be honest. Make happy buyers.

WOW... I thought the OP was selling pictures or postcards.

I honesty don't know how you sold anything, this is the wierdest thing I have seen on eBay, and I have been here a while

When I looked at your completed listings, that was the first thing I thought...."WHAT GIVES?".

You can't list anymore because all of your listings were in violation. You have to have a photo of the item you are selling, not just a random photo of something. Is there any reason you didn't use photos of the items you were selling? I'm just trying to figure out why a seller would do this and think it's okay.

You had your account suspended. There's no getting around it. Perhaps there are other platforms you can sell on, but as far as ebay is concerned, you're done. Sorry. Good luck to you in the future.

He should be banned from buying as well.
In the sports card category, sellers are given the option to ship via EBAY STANDARD ENVELOPE, which is basically a reduced fee shipping option in a plain white envelope with metered mail tracking assigned IF the dimwits at USPS do their jobs correctly and put the envelope through the metered mail machine, as they're supposed to instead of being lazy and just throwing the item in the "NON-MACHINABLE" bin...
What ebay doesn't want to talk about, what sellers know and assume the risk for, and what SCAMMERS take advantage of, is that USPS fails to do their job correctly about half the time on EBAY STANDARD ENVELOPE shipments...allowing unscrupulous buyers to scam free cards by claiming non-receipt for items shipped to them which some dim clown at USPS deemed non-machinable.
Let's just say here has built up a bit of a reputation in sports card circles...wish I had known before he bought from me.

This is a very old thread, and you're not allowed to name and shame buyers, even ones who start threads, I believe. While your warning may seem helpful, it's against the rules of this board.
