Can not add additional Description after item has bids.

I used to be able to add "Additional Description" to my listings after they had received bids.  Tonight I tried and I receive the error that I can not modify the return policy after bids are received. I did not modify the Return Policy, I just tried to add an "Additional Description" to the listing.  Has anyone else had this problem?

That always seemed a bit " dangerous " .   Moving the goal post after the ball was kicked.
