Evening Folks,
This week Ebay had a 20% off promo that certain sellers participated in and we decided to purchase 2 additional chainsaws for the property.
One simply does not run and chokes out as soon as you pull the throttle...the other runs fine...like a champ but the bar oiler is not working.
So after coming in from the shop just now I decided to reach out to the seller through "Contact Seller" for advice and first I get redirected to a page that says:
Any Ideas on what I can do to contact the seller?

Hi Mr C
Probably the surest way of making contact with them is to file a SNAD - ebay seems to forward the message to the seller at that point.
Sorry. Surest way I can think of, when conservative methods fail.

Evening My Californian Friend!
Well I don't even see a SNAD option and I don't want that route...the option is simply to return...and why do this at this point...just want to let the seller know what I am running into and any ideas they may have at this point.

Hey Mr. C!
The best solution right now is to open the case as gracieallen suggested. After you click on "return item" it's going to ask why. Since it doesn't work I'd go with that. I would bet the farm the seller will contact you once the case is opened. Then you can work it out and close the case if everything goes well. If not, you would need to return it anyway.
Good luck!

Oh, I understand that. But .... from what I understand, also, the way communications are now set up, that may be the only way to get their attention, let alone even be able to 'talk' to them.
Sort of sad, though.
(staying warm and dry? haven't checked the weather for foreign countries of late. )

Wouldn't have been VMI, would it? There should be information on their packaging if it was.

Hi Mr C, if you go to your Purchase History, in the blue tab on the right, do you have the Option to select "I'd like to ask the Seller a question about my item"?
I've always been able to contact my sellers that way.

Mr C, can you see something that says "More Actions" in the drop-down menu?

Evening Chrysylys,
Ah...I see you looked at my posting ID and saw a chainsaw purchase...well yes that one I purchased for myself and it runs amazing...The info VM provides is there but it does keep the communication OFF ebay...as a buyer I can and most likely will avail myself of this come Monday.
So that option is there yet I would like my conversation directed first and foremost through Ebay and at this point was simply looking to reach out to them through the typical and standard ebay method.
Thanks by the way...and we also purchased 2 additional saws through our other account for the business and these are the 2 I was referencing. Need to get a few acres of timber bucked up and sell some firewood before it rots...maybe even get some timbers for milling out at the shop.

Hi Again Rainbow,
My drop down says "I'd Like Too"...
From there it gives options like:
Write a Review
View Order Details
Contact Seller
Return This Item
Report Late Delivery.
Etc...etc
When I chose contact seller I copied and pasted what it showed me when I clinked on the links up in my op.

No, I didn't look at anything. I just remember that VMI was part of that sale and that they sell that kind of thing.
