Can I uncheck "sell internationally" as default?

Is there a way to set the listing template to uncheck the "sell internationally" box by default? When I click "sell similar", eBay automatically rechecks the sell internationally box. Seems like if I don't sell internationally, I should have the option to automatically put that in the listings instead of having to remember to unselect it for each item I list.

I've never found a way to do it. I just know to uncheck that box.

If the listing you're using to 'sell similar' has international checked, it will carry over.  Use templates - they're easy, fast and save time, and you can set them up as you like and those changes will stick.

Manage templates.

"If the listing you're using to 'sell similar' has international checked, it will carry over.  "

And every time I use a listing without international checked, which was all 3200 of mine for at least seven years, ebay's software default to checking the box while using an existing listing to 'sell similar'.

Just this morning I relisted some unsold items and the international box is checked every time even though I never open up sales  to any foreign country.  It is evil but after watching this type of upselling in the photo bundle, auction durations and now the international box for over ten years I am used to looking at every upsell item ebay throws at us through intentional code manipulation.

As a shareholder I understand it, yet as a seller it is appalling since we all know that novice sellers end up paying extra fees without any real recourse.
