I found a nickel (5 cents) in the washer after I took some clothes out to dry them and I want to sell it on ebay along with a few other items.

Yes you can. You might want to read how MP works. I feel the best way to handle finances on ebay now is to open a separate bank account for MP and have a pay pal account that you can use in certain instances.

You are so lucky!
I can't believe it. You really found a nickel?
I don't remember ever being that lucky except once, but it was just a penny.

How did you sell your items back in Jan?

I don't understand your post, you ARE an experienced seller and buyer. Why are you asking the posters in the forum this particular " nickel" question? So it's either:
A: this account has been hijacked
B: 5 o"clock somewhere came early?

Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose. I do no want to rely on PayPal at all. Ebay has the “money management system” in place which I find very attractive in that EBay handles the money aspects of all transactions. What is disconcerting is the payment methods listed include PayPal. I have lost numerous transactions as a result. What your saying is for those ‘certain instances’ it’s best to have the account in place for those who feel more comfortable using that payment instrument.

Hi @micdemop0 Not sure i follow. The seller doesn’t need to have a PayPal account for a buyer to remit with PP. How have you lost business? PayPal is just one of multiple payment methods listed that buyers can use to make purchases on eBay. It has no bearing on sellers.

Apparently their was something amiss with the OP's account since it is no longer active. Not simply NARU but it is totally gone.

How have you lost sales??
Buyers pay with their choice of Paypal, credit cards, debit cards, Google Pay or Apple Pay. The payment is processed and sent to your checking account. If anything buyers have MORE payment options now.
