EBay has decide on a 2700.00 high value case in favor of the buyer in the UK. He opened a case. Used description-not same. Honestly it was my brothers Boombox and was faceless as 12 pictures were accurate. He opened the case claiming a slight crack in radio dial. There was no damage with video before it was pickup by USPS. Buyer later claims in emails he bought fir some other client. He didn’t want it. Remorse ? Scam ? So I was told by eBay to send a label by October 20 due to my disabilities and I’m 65. It’s hard to find a label from UK to return the unit to me in Naples Fl. I found UPS label early oct 17 th. The label shows I bought it October 18. I sent emails to the buyer from October 17-18 with the label. No issues. The buyer never replied and they close the case today October 20 because he didn't get the label on time. High value customer service say can’t reverse and didn’t see my email with the UPS label for the return. I did everything. I have proof I sent these messages on my phone and iPad. They won’t give the person of in charge to send the emails. I don’t get this. They gave him a full refund and nothing to return the 2700 collectible. ? And tell me to ask him to return it with the label. Unhappy seller. Don’t they back you after 2200 great sales in 10 yrs. JM

You cannot send an international return label, you are supposed to provide the shipping return funds to the buyer from Paypal.Did you respond to the case itself or just to the buyer?

Really? That sounds sketchy. What happens if the buyer doesn't follow through on the return? Does eBay reimburse you the return shipping amount you sent?

sad fact is they will get their money back and if they dont send it back to you, they will get the item as well. (they can send you a empty box) and they will still keep both money and item) ebay ALWAYS SIDES with the buyer ALWAYS.

They do not back you:
eBay has no idea what was sent.
Since eBay refunded you I doubt the buyer will return the item.
When some one files and item not as described case: you need to return for refund: of let em keep item and refund.
You response to the case or lake of such: eBay refunded for you as per agreements and the money back guarantee you agree to using Ebay to sell on.
Rule on one of selling on the Internets.
If you can not afford to loss of item and all money payed for it: Do not list it for sale on the Internets.
You have been scammed by the way. I am sure of that: but what can one do when the perp is in some foreign country??
Sorry this happen to you: and you have to learn this the hard way.

If they don't ship it back, you open a case with Pay Pal and get that money refunded.

Was it shipped using GSP, if it was how do you know they didn't open the package and repackage it?

Looking at the listing that was not a GSP shipping.

May sound 'sketchy' to you, but thats the way its done for international returns that were not shipped by GSP.
