So I am shopping on ebay and see listings that have banners in the first photo that say "Free Two Day Shipping" and when I check on the listing the delivery time is over a week.
Does ebay approve of this?
Can I add text to my photos that I don't have to honor after I got the sell because it is not actually stated in the listing?
Do sellers doing this make ebay a better place to shop?
So I can add "Free shipping" in my photos but not actually have free shipping?
What does "Free Two Day Shipping" with the American flag actually mean?
Can I add a "Best Seller" in the lead photo of my listings even if I have a bad rating on ebay?

eBay picture policy clearly says no added text to pictures. The reason you might see some with text is because eBay has grandfathered in pictures before the currently policy, if those listings which would be GTC listing get ended they would not be allowed on a relist. If you are seeing pictures offering services not outlined in the listed you should report the listing.

May I please add the following....
Can I add obnoxious borders and backgrounds to photos?
Can I add words like "NEW" and "LIKE NEW" to photos?
Aren't some of these "Search and Browse Manipulation" or against ebay's "Picture Policy?"
Can I report these listings to ebay OVER and OVER and nothing is ever done? You betcha!
From ebay's "Picture Policy:
What are the guidelines?
Allowed
Not allowed

I tried to report them and went through the steps, starting with:
Listing practices,
After that NONE of the categorizes let me explain what was wrong with the listing.
So I guess it is ok with ebay.
If the policy clearly says no added text to pictures but there is NO way to report it, it must be ok.
I can find thousands of listing like it. I have found feedback stating the slow shipping and that it was drop shipped from amazon but still no way to report any of the listings to ebay.
So again it must be ok with ebay or they would have a way to report all of the sellers doing the same thing.
Report them for search and Browse Manipulation>>other Search and Browse Manipulation ... and then enter "Pictures with Artwork or text" and "2-Day Shipping advertised in photos, not in ship methods"

You sound like if they can do it I can also, which is a strange stance for someone who is trying to police sellers listings? It does sound like this is important to you so I would probably call eBay and show your proof of wrong doing, or you can try to do the same thing and get the same bad feedback. Your call?

Seller may mean free shipping and in the mail in two days.........why not ask?

I think the OP might be as frustrated as I have been with other seller photos that clearly violate ebay's stated Photo Policies. (I copied and included the policies in my first response.) I would also add that like the OP, I have reported these violations multiple times and clearly nothing is done as the listings are still there with the same photos.
I don't think anyone is suggesting they are interested in adding violations to their own photos just because someone else has. We simply would prefer ebay enforce their own policies in fairness to ALL sellers.

If 2 day handling, I would think delivery (5 business days) could take a wk.....could be wrong, but I'm saying the seller may have misworded what they mean......... if misworded is a word.......
Agree watermarks aren't supposed to be allowed....... But the push to stop them (the requirement to get rid of them by whatever date it was) was pushed back and then never brought up again (?)........so ebay isn't enforcing that, that I'm aware of.

@dhbookds,
So if I put free overnight shipping in my title it would be ok if it is in the mail overnight?
The listing also stated expedited shipping. If shipping was two days or handling was two days the estimated deliver would still not be a week.
