Can I add a comment to a positive FB ?

Buyer left a positive FB stating I canceled the order. NO I did not cancel the order she returned it with a lie stating the sugar bowel has crazing. I had to pay for return shipping and got a defect. I knew the item was new and never used and in perfect condition. After return I refunded all her money.

I don't want other buyer to think that I just cancel orders. Should I just leave it alone?

Many buyers don't read descriptions, and many more buyers don't 'read' the comments on feedback, but they might 'glance' at your feedback to see if you have any neutrals/negatives- when they see green donuts, they just move on.

Adding to something someone said makes that feedback stick out.

Let it go, nobody will read it and eventually it will fall off the 1st page.

I understand the sting of someone who lies about you in "public", how outrageous!

It's a form of character assassination. Pity the liar and rejoice your own integrity.

At least it's a positive mark, which is odd for a vindictive person.

I'm not sure what I would do, if I did respond it might say something like " Buyer returned item and was refunded."

Of course, any response from you and they can respond with another lie, making it look worse. Something to consider.

Basically, nobody cares if they were to read it; being a positive mark, others might think there were extenuating circumstances and the buyer was happy in the end.

The buyer may have done it just to bully you knowing it would bother you. That's the hard thing to deal with. Letting it go will assuage that violated feeling in the long run. So will blocking them.

My 2 cents worth!

Yes, leave it alone because the feedback will stand out more.

Also, if you leave a reply, the buyer might leave follow up comments and have the last word, you can only reply to feedback once..

As Elsa says “Let it Go” 🙂 otherwise it will call attention to it. When scrolling through sellers feedback, I’m looking for stuff like that. As soon as it’s on page 2 it will never be read again.

You were lucky that the buyer left positive FB, it could have been worse.  I'd just move on.  Most buyers won't ever even read it, but if they do, they would also realize that the buyer wan't really that upset by it as they could have left a neg or neutral FB.

To add a comment, even a positive comment would be to call attention to that FB.  Then more buyers would be looking at it.  But if you leave it alone, most won't even notice it.

Why did you get a defect?  Did she file for a return and you tried to deny it and/or asked Ebay to step in?
