You have resurrected a thread from May 2018.
The original poster apparently changed his mind. He currently has a Store and over 400 listings.

@nobody*s_perfect glad you pointed that out. Every day there's another thread with seller announcing their leaving. Good to know its sometimes only temporary

Don't take the easy way out by blaming eBay. IMHO you could improve your listings, especially your titles. "Black walnut lumber" returns 2700 listings, so you need to find a way to stand out or cast a wider net.
For instance, you are selling hardwood boards but the words "hardwood" and "board" does not appear in your title. Anyone whose search includes the basic terms hardwood or board will miss your listings.
The fact that your wood has been air dried for thirty years is nice, but I doubt anyone searches on the words "thirty years" so you could use "30 yrs"save six characters toward "board" right there.
Other search term examples ... black walnut is a dark, exotic hardwood. Has your lumber been planed?

The word board no way applies to what I'm selling. No one makes a gun stock out of a board! It would be called a blank! No one turns a spindle out of a board! It's called a turning block! I do agree that hardwood may apply and that 30 instead of thirty may help with more digits.
Thirty years air dried is the difference between me and every other seller. Desirable to instrument builders. Problem is most of them builders are in California and I'm on the east cost.
Any one that knows what they are looking at can see this lumber has been planned.
The problem like I said over a year go is eBay's one size fits all mentality. I don't offer free returns because of the cost of shipping. If a customer doesn't like the wood (never had that happen) I will refund and they can keep it. I'm never going to offer free returns on this lumber!
