Buying In Game Accounts?

Hello im interested in buying an in game account from a game called Genshin Impact. I was wondering if ebay protects the buyer if the seller somehow did not deliver or send the account info or if the account is revoked. This is a pretty expensive item as accounts can cost upwards of 4000$.

Man, I used to pop a quarter in an arcade game and play for hours. I probably did spend $4,000 in quarters of my mom's money IN MY WHOLE LIFE as a kid.

There is no buyer OR seller protection for those digital/online gaming items.

The game companies do NOT allow them to be sold or traded.  If the game company finds out, they shut down the game. 

If you're a seller, you lose because you aren't supposed to be selling them to begin with.  You could lose the money for the game via a chargeback, or you could lose your Ebay account.

If you're a buyer and the game gets shut down because you aren't the original member, you lose because Ebay doesn't cover digital items under the money back guarantee:  https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy...
