Hi all. A few years ago, I sold brand new tablets. They were all sent unopened and sealed. Even though I did not accept returns, a buyer requested a refund alleging the tablet was damaged, scratched and not working. I'm sure he had a damaged one, bought mine, asked for a refund and sent me the used one. So, after a very time consuming fight with Ebay, I had to accept a piece of junk back and release my money to the buyer.
Since then, I've been very hesitant about selling expensive stuff on Ebay. Is there a way to avoid being scammed again?.

Unfortunately... no. Not as things currently stand. Other than NOT selling electronics, no. Also please remember no returns does NOT mean no refunds. Some folks have had some luck writing a politely worded message to eBay's Facebook for Business account or their Twitter site, but that's not guaranteed.

Electronics and mobile phones are the topmost items for scammers. If you don't want to risk another than do not sell those two items. Best of luck to you....
