Buyers leaving feedback - hard to locate link

I've had quite a few customers email me saying "I'd love to leave you 100% feedback, but I can't find the link since the last ebay update".  I too, have looked for a link to leave feedback for my own purchases, and it's not clear as it once was.  I have enjoyed many of the updates as they have been implemented, but am frustrated by this.  I'm working hard to personalize transactions and package my products with loving care - but my feedback is slow growing because it's hard to find.  Out of 100 transactions I'll get 5 official ebay feedbacks and handfuls of messages.  I get cards in the mail, emails, ebay messages, and even people looking me up on Facebook to thank me - but no ebay feedback is left because it's hidden.

Can anyone suggest an easy way to explain to customers how to find the feedback option? Thanks!

Re: Buyers leaving feedback - hard to locate link

Do they mean 100% positive, or 100% negative feedback? If it's the latter I'd rather they not find out where to leave the feedback.

Just tell them to go to their purchase history page and it shows everything they purchased recently. There's a huge bright blue button next to each purchase that says "LEAVE FEEDBACK." That blue button will change to something else after awhile. But the "LEAVE FEEDBACK" button will directly below it.

Another easy way is to go to your own (or anyone's) feedback page. At the bottom there is a link that says "LEAVE FEEDBACK."

Aren't you a buyer, too? Don't you leave feedback for your sellers? Can you just describe the way you leave feedback for members you buy from?

I suppose it depends on which platform your buyer is using. I don't use the mobile apps, but it's pretty clear on the desktop version. From the Purchase History page, you just click on the big "Leave feedback" button next to that item listing.

Also, from the desktop, they can go to their own feedback page, scroll to the bottom, and select "Leave feedback." Any purchases that still qualify for feedback comments will be displayed.

Someone else will have to help you with mobile app instructions.

I mean, this isn't brain surgery. How a buyer could fail to figure it out is beyond the limits of my imagination. 😆

Sorry, @bigdeals.etc. Cross-posted. I spent like 30 minutes composing my dazzling response, and, in the meantime, you managed to answer it brilliantly without me. 😊

Ha ha ha.. FIRST!

Coincidentally great minds think alike, we thought of the two exact same methods. But as you can see... I'm waaaaay too lazy to do all that work screenshot you did. I thought about doing it too, but that thought quickly shot right outta my head. Gimme a break, it's Friday. Yours is way more thorough and easy to follow.

Re: Buyers leaving feedback - hard to locate link

Just now, went to my eBay > Purchase History.

Found the item for which I needed to leave feedback.  Scrolled over to the right.  One of the options was "Leave Feedback".  Clicked on that.  Left feedback.  Had no problem.

I think this is the way I've always left feedback.
