Buyers address wrong need to invoice buyer for additional shipping HOW?

We're on the eBay sellers page can you invoice additional shipping because the buyer submitted the wrong city to ship to? USPS shipped the item back and he still wants the item.

You can't.

You either set up a listing for the shipping charge or they can pay through Pay Pal or another service you both use.

Have a great day.

(sorry, but I have to)

it's not we're it's WHERE.

Refund the original listing payment.

Relist the item and let the buyer know the relisted item number.

That buyer, if he/she truly wants the item, can purchase it again.

In the meantime, they should correct their address.

While it would not be ethical, eBay does not insist that we complete transactions where the buyer gives an Undeliverable address.

Best to refund and re-invoice through Paypal.

You can ask for his PP ID - it's an email- and send him an invoice. This is allowed in Messages when there is an open transaction.

If both of you use Friends and Family, you will not be charged fees. There are other benefits but that's the important one.

eBay does not have a provision for invoicing buyers for extra money, probably because (a) it makes refunds and fees more complicated, and (b) it would open the door to extortion for unscrupulous sellers.

IMHO the proper solution is to cancel the transaction and refund the buyer ('problem with address'), then relist and have the buyer re-buy with the correct address. This creates a brand new transaction with new timelines for payment and shipping.

I think eBay would consider that fee avoidance.
