I sold an item last night and the buyer received it a few minutes ago, but they have not marked it as delivered, so I have to wait 21 days to get my money when that could easily be shortened. I had to deal with this once before, and it's annoying having to wait so long.
What can I do to get my money quicker?
(My item is a virtual item, not a physical one that I have to ship.)

I've never purchased a digitally delivered item. How does a buyer mark it as delivered?

Without tracking, you'll have to wait 21 days and hope the buyer doesn't file an INR and gets their money back.

Just hope buyer doesn't say not received. You can't prove delivery.

I am not aware of any mechanism the buyer has to mark something as delivered. However, if you mark the item as shipped on your end, you can get your funds within 7 days of the estimated delivery date. Below is a link to the Help pages on how to get your funds quicker. You might find that helpful. Good luck!

PS-- Since you are selling virtual gaming items, you appear to be operating within the guidelines for the digitally delivered goods policy.

This must be a new policy????? I don't remember the customer ever having to "mark" the item as delivered in the past. Sounds like Ebay wants to hold our money longer before it is sent to us??????? If the package shows delivered then let it go as such.
REDICULOUS!!!

same issue happened to me. they say they received it. tracking doesn't show that. customer says they don't know how to mark as received. unfair. may be out of money due to bad tracking and needing to message the customer over and over to mark it delivered.

Did you read the thread? There is no way for a buyer to mark their item as delivered. eBay only recognizes the carrier's Delivery scan, or a scan of the QR code that eBay provides for local pickups.
