Buyer who does not pay - I put up for resale - same bidder wins and doesn't pay!

Buyer does not pay - I put up for resale - same bidder wins (for less!) and doesn't pay and I get no response to messages!
I've done some research and the only person with that name has a Facebook account but it is one of those ethereal fake looking ones with no personal information.

I'm wondering if it could be a fake account although this person has nearly 2000 100% feedback and I cannot work out why anyone would fake a buyer's account ...

Puzzled and frustrated.

I have sent this message to the buyer: "Hi this is the second time you have bid for this item and not paid. It seems unfair on those who have been outbid and of course on us too. If I don't hear from you or receive payment in the next 24 hours, I will have to report this account to Ebay.
Regards"

     You should have considered adding the buyer to your blocked bidder list after the first time they failed to pay and there never would have been a second. As long as you have been on eBay I am surprised this is the first time this has happened to you.

Why didn’t you just cancel after 4 days as buyer didn’t pay?  They get a defect and after so many they will get banned. Put them on your blocked list. There is no need to message them and that last email might come back to bite you because that is aligning with feedback extortion and such (give me this (payment)  or I will (report) but since they are clearly not responding they probably don’t care.

Your buyer already has a 96 hour window to pay... per eBay. Hang in there and cancel if/when you need to.
