Buyer wants info

A potential buyer wants My PayPal email address.  Is that normal?  Does the buyer have to have My PayPal email address to pay?

No they do not need your email in order to pay you. They need your email in order to try to scam you.

No, the buyer is planning on scamming you.

They don't need your Pay Pal email to pay, but they want it so they can send you a fake email saying you've been paid.

Add the buyers ID to your blocked buyers list.

Signs of a scam:

1. Buyer asks for your email address, Paypal address
2. Buyer sends you a phone number to text/call him/her
3. Buyer asks you to buy gift cards to go with the order
4. Buyer asks you to send the item to a different address after paying
5. Buyer wants you to send the item overnight/express and will pay you a lot extra to do this
6. Buyers says that they cannot pay through the eBay website and sends you a link to click on so that the payment will go through
7. Buyer offers more for your item than the price you have it listed for

Ebay does not allow sellers to accept payment via Paypal.

I don't understand.   Unless you mean sellers only accept payments via bank or credit card.  Is that what you meant?  I am new to this

Buyers can pay through PayPal but the payment then goes through Adyen (managed payments).  Any messages saying you have been paid and they come from PayPal are scams.  Steer clear of this buyer and block them.

NO, you cannot even sell on Ebay using paypal.

It's  most likely a scam.

Ignore and block them.

How do I block them?  I am new to this and not good computer
