Today I had a potential buyer message asking "if we'll be back in town soon, they're trying to purchase"
I responded with "our store is not on time away, all items should be available for purchase"
They responded again with "it says seller is on vacation not able to purchase at this time"
Needless to say, we're not on vacation mode or time away.
Probably explains our poor sales over the last few days. Can anyone help?

I checked 10 of your listing at random and all were available for purchase. Most likely your customer has items in the cart from multiple sellers and one of the other ones is on vacation.

I’ve read about buyer doing this to another seller in this forum. Can’t find that post at the moment. It’s just someone with nothing better to do but play games.
I looked at several items of yours and your store as well I don’t see any away message.

There can be gaps between what the customer tells you and The Truth. Sometimes this is an error on their part, sometimes deliberate.
Tell your customer to take take the item out of their cart and try again without using the cart.
You might also ask their location. Apparently nearly half of your listings are not available to for example Zimbabwe, but half are.
What Destinations do you have Blocked?

For some crazy reason, if the buyer has items in their cart from different sellers and one of those sellers are on Time Away, it shows it for all the sellers, not just the one.
