Buyer trying to return an item I didn't sell to them

What do I do if I have a buyer trying to pass off a return that was not the item I sold them? Looks to me like they had an item at home that was not the right refill for a kitty litter box and they bought mine and are trying to send me the one that they already had at home. Please help

This issue has been dealt with many times in this forum, and some have offered great advice on how to deal with not only eBay on this, but also the police, the USPS, and internet fraud unit, so do a search.

Has the buyer opened a return case? If so, what reason did they select for the return?
