Buyer says dolls has a mark on it. Used freight forwarder so doesn't want to return.

Buyer sent pic of a tiny light mark on a never removed from box doll's face (I didn't notice any mark). 

 

I accept returns but she used a freight forwarder to Korea (not GSP) and doesn't want to. 

 

she wants $$ (she paid $75 plus shipping)

 

If I pay up, can she still leave a neg?

Don't fall for her extortion. Offer her a full refund upon return of the doll. She lost her MBG coverage when she had it reshipped.

Buyer voided the MBG, she isn't due either a return or money.

I HATE to get a neg especially before the holidays. 

 

so, there is really no way to block that from happening, eh?

 

and, she has threatened to go to ebay if I don't make her happy

 

what will they say?

We would let them know that you are not responsable to ship back from Korea.  We just had one of those that tried to make us pay for it.  We stood ground and said refunding is no problem but were not going to pay for shipping from another country when it was sent to a forwarding company in the U.S.  They fought it very hard with ebay but we did win the case, we did not have to pay the extra shipping charges and they decided to keep the item.  If they leave you a neg there is a good chance that ebay will remove it.  Best regards

One- will not hurt you. Especially if you reply in a very professional manner and state the facts

Besides, if the OP gets one, a counter-response of:  "Buyer offered a full refund but declined."  certainly would help deflect any doubts that OP is honorable and trustworthy.

I don't like getting negatives at any time, let alone any holiday, but there is an ever increasing supply of unreasonable buyers and you can't avoid them forever.

 

Let her go to ebay. She can open a case and you do not have to send a label, she should already know this.

 

...and if she doesn't, eventually the return will time out while she waits for a label that will never come.

 

If that case times out before she leaves feedback, she can only give a positive.

 

BBL and ignore them unless they open a case.

If she takes it to eBay you can either one show she forwarded or and voided her money back guarantee which will cause her to not be able to leave feedback. Or two tell her return it for a refund provide a label from the US address you shipped it to if she doesn’t ship it back she loses the case and doesn’t get to leave feedback.  Do not pay her return shipping from another country out of the fear of a neg

she wrote in her long message that she doesn't want to return as she used a freight forwarder. 

 

I do not ship to Korea

 

so, if she voided her MBG, she can't leave feedback? 

 

would I have to call or could it be handled within a case?
