I got a message from Ebay that a buyer requested a refund thru their credit card because they didn't recognise the charge. I looked up the transaction, was about 1 month ago, sold to a buyer with no feedback, a $35 taillight.
Ebay asked for a response, so I sent tracking info that showed delivered. Almost instantly, got a message saying the buyer has been refunded, but I was not being charged because of seller protection.
I am happy that I am not losing out, but I hope that Ebay will actually deal with the credit card company, and not just let it go. That's all we need here, more buyers that know they can get away with free stuff. Who knows, maybe it is actually a legit complaint, seems like someone would go for more than $35, but who knows. Hope it all works out in the end!
