Buyer opens return stating item is open box which it isn't

I have a buyer that bought an item. Pictures clearly show the item SEALED in the plastic bag from the manufacturer. 

Buyer claims the item is open box and is used but both claims are false 

Buyer claiming the item is open box when the item is obviously not in a SEALED box that the buyer viewed on the auction page. 

Buyer states that the box I shipped the item in is not factory SEALED which is not the box the item was originally shipped in.

And the buyer is refusing to open the box that the brand new factory SEALED item that he purchased is in.

He is claiming the item is used just because of the box I shipped the item in.

Any of you experienced this level of ridiculousness?

Don't see anything saying they are Apple.

Tell buyer to return for a full refund.

Your airpods are NOT apple. You owe the buyer a refund.

Based on the feedback he left, he opened a case. That means he's getting a refund, eBay is not going to side with you on this. Just accept the return if you want the item back. You could have probably avoided that neg if you just accepted the return in the first place

Sorry to say yes they are , the buyer is not telling the truth , I have pictures of the box not unsealed it’s brand new , and they are Apple . Listen I use to sell all the time I’m no scammer , and I would not post something that wasn’t Apple in my description! There are always 2 sides of story .
