My 2 book item was apparently purchased by someone at a comic shop, and when I wrote back to thank him for his purchase and let him know I would be getting it out to him promptly, I got a cryptic, "No. Thanks." as a response. I have written 5 times since asking for clarification on his remark with no response. eBay is showing the item as sold, so I don't know what to do. I certainly don't want to send something out that a buyer no longer wants, or worse, is trying to trick me, and it appears as I look over the forum here there are a number of ways buyers can gig you. I've just started doing this only as a way to sell my collection, so I'm new to the whole process.
The item number is 174813181112- R.Crumb Head Comics and Fritz the Cat.
What should I do?
Thanks for your help.

If the buyer paid and Ebay says it ok to ship, ship the books.
There's no reason to contact the buyer, unless there is a problem.

Just ship the order!
I have no idea why you would message a buyer who has bought and paid BEFORE you have actually shipped.
Maybe I could figure out what the response means IF you posted the exact text of your message to the buyer.
Into your life it will creep

Since you're new to this, know that it isn't required of you to message your buyer before shipping. Had you simply shipped it, you'd not be wrestling with 'cryptic' messages. If your buyer has paid, package them well and ship them. Good going!

If the item is sold and paid for ship it.
Stop sending messages to the buyer. 5 times seems excessive and this is a holiday weekend.
The buyer did not contact you and ask to cancel so if they paid then ship.

Be careful. canceling the item could result in Negative feedback. And, you may have earned a defect for late shipping unless you have a long handling time.

You sold an item(s) which buyer paid you for so you are supposed to follow through per policy here and ship your item. Sending repeated messages (five) is just the icing on the cake for things you've done incorrectly, but this is how you learn. Just complete the transaction as you should have done to begin with. Best of luck to you....
