I sold an Intel Nextbook laptop in Januray with heavy packaging. I shipped the item on Januray 25 at 9:35 am and was delivered to the buyer in Januray 28 at 12:38pm. Today is February 9 2:20pm and just received a message saying that I delievered him the laptop with a broken screen. Not sure why he is telling me this now. On the message he describes how he was not at home during the time of the delivery to this date. I did explain that I used a lot of packaging for this item to prevent this. I am very worried that I might have to refund the money if it was the delivery drivers at fault, or if I am being tricked by the buyer.

Is the buyer telling you that only in a message, or has the buyer opened a Return request? Big difference...

Doesn't matter whether you used lots of packaging or it was the delivery driver's fault or you are being scammed. You will be forced to refund the purchase.
