Hey guys I wanted to know your in put on a issue I'm having. I went to the post office to ship items worth 350$ I printed the label and the post lady said I couldn't ship it with this label. So I bought a new label at the post office with insurance. I didn't give the buyer the tracking number because it's the insurance number as well. I double checked the adress of the buyer and it is the correct one. I have pictures of the label too and the item got delivered when I check the tracking. The buyer is mad because I didn't give him the tracking and said he dosen't open up packages unless he knows where there from. I explained to him the situation but he dosen't care. I looked at his listing and he had the same product I sold him on a bit higher price like 25$ more. He updated his listing on march 27 and my package arrived on march 26. Note he has 10 of these products in quantity and I sold him 4, but he updated his listing on march 27. In the past I given out the tracking number with the insurance and the package got damaged one time . What ended up happening is I gave the buyer a refund and the buyer took my insurance money too:( That why I don't give out the tracking number if its is my insurance as well.

Reselling at a profit is not "taking advantage." It's what most eBay sellers do. Your buyer just happens to be also using his eBay buying ID as his selling ID.

@pureinnocenthelp wrote:It's not your fault at all. It's so stupid so someone to get mad only because there was no tracking. So basically he stole your product and sold it for higher price.
I believe the OPs buyer paid for the item, therefore no theft has occurred. What a customer does with my item after they receive it is of no consequence to me.

Isn't the tracking number on the label????
Shd be. You can also just manually put the tracking number in the order history.
Confused why you think there is some issue about the insurance number.
This is an easy one.

Thats not a problem he can what he wants with the item. He open up a case because he wants the tracking, but he hasn't told me if he got the item yet. I already told him it got delivered and shown him tracking history of the product. Still wants the tracking

You were burned by one buyer double-dipping, but that is unlikely to happen again.
Viewing all buyers as potential scammers who do not merit your trust is not conducive to good business. Leading out of fear only promotes more fear. Try trusting the process first. There is nothing wrong with being cautious. But there is a difference between being cautious and being suspicious of every buyer.

The problem is he wants to open up a case when his product already got delivered and I shown him the tracking history. I explain to him what happen, but his still anger. Why be mad when I delivered the product to him. He wants a refund and wants to keep the items.

Yes but I paid insurance for myself because sometimes thing get lost or damaged. It was 350$ so I put insurance. My post office tell me that the insurance number is the tracking number as well. In the past when I gave out tracking and I put insurance on a buyer scam me. They took my insurance money and they got a refund from me. I gave him a update on his package and it got delivered but he still wants the tracking number.

The only time I put insurance is when it's over 100$ I always give out tracking when I don't put insurance. I explain the situation, but next time I will just do deliver confirmation. When I explain this to customer most of them understand . This has only happen three times . I'm shipping the product to customers I'm not scamming anyone.

Thanks I just don't why the ups gave a refund to the buyer the last time. They told me they couldn't give me a refund anymore

Everyone who has replied to this thread has advised you to share the tracking number. There's nothing else we can say to convince you. I really don't understand how you think he could abuse it.
If a package wasn't delivered, then YOU should file an insurance claim with USPS. As I explained above, if you and the buyer both file, then USPS will send the payment to you. I don't understand why you didn't file a claim in the case that you have cited where your buyer filed a claim.

Your stubborn behavior isn't going to help you. The buyer can ask ebay to step in, and because you're paranoia is keeping you from putting tracking in to the case, they'll get your item and your money.
But hey, do what you want, we'll be here to explain why you lost the item and money, you'll make thw same lame argument about insurance, and the buyer will enjoy the profits.

He'll get it too. Stop being stubborn.

At this point I will share the delivery tracking since it's been delivered. I did show him the history of the tracking already and it got delivered. I just don't why someone would be mad if the product got there. I addressed him in a kind matter, but I can tell he doesn't care. Most people are just happy to get their product, but I gusse I can't please everyone.

IMHO you are completely out of bounds. Give the buyer the tracking number he deserves and hope you don't end up with a negative after this foolishness.

Put the tracking into the Ebay system. it is crazy for you to think you should not do that. Hopefully you will not get a negative feedback.
